Welcome to the Grocotts Removals & Storage website. Grocotts Removals is based in Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, and is a family run company with a wealth of knowledge in the removal industry, with over 20 years experience.
We understand that moving house or office is a stressful time before your move has even begun; in fact it has long been recognised as one of the most stressful things we ever do in our lives.
We pride ourselves in attention to detail and ensuring that our customers are satisfied with our removals and storage service, and every home, small office and piano removal is completed to our customers satisfaction.

The fact that we understand that moving house is a stressful time - even before you begin to move - means that when we speak to you, and especially when we first meet you to discuss the finer details, we believe that our understanding of your problems helps to relieve most of the stress for you, and instils confidence that we will get you through this.
Initial contact is usually by either email or telephone. We discuss your basic requirements, then in most cases arrange to visit your home. At this point we discuss the details, and give you an idea of cost, leading to a no obligation quotation; in other words, there is no cost to you until you give us the go ahead. We nearly always beat quotes from larger companies, as we do not charge v.a.t.
Whether you are moving home locally in the Staffordshire / Cheshire / South Manchester areas, or move house to any other part of the UK including Scotland and Wales, Grocotts Removals can offer a tailored solution for your needs.
Full home removals or part house moves, pianos and odd items, Grocotts are committed to customer satisfaction and our staff will go that extra mile to ensure your moving day is straight forward. No matter how big or small your move is, all moves are treated with the same level of care.
We Dismantle and Reassemble any furniture giving you more time to sort the more important things out, also we offer a professional packing service if you choose not to pack the items yourself. Full or part packing services are available and we provide free wardrobe cartons for all your hanging clothes.
On your moving day your removal team will arrive on time, and in full uniform ready to start your relocation.
On arriving at your new home, if you show your removal team your layout, we will gladly put your belongings in the rooms where you want them, so the right items are in the right place, which can be a massive relief when it comes to unpacking your belongings.
Got a piano in your move? don't panic!! Grocotts Removals have extensive experience, and are in fact specialists when it comes to Piano Removals, so they are not a problem, we have all the relevant equipment needed to move your piano to the new location.

When the time is right for you, we will collect your belongings and deliver to your new home.
As you can see in the images above The Move Must Go On; the weather may slow us down, but we will always do our level best to get you moved on time, and if this means late into the night, so be it!
Most of our work comes from customer referral, and our main areas are Stoke on Trent, Stafford and North Staffordshire in general, and Crewe, Congleton and all of Cheshire and South Manchester. You can see a list of towns in this area at the foot of the page. However, we have moved people into and away from this area to all parts of the UK, so distance is no object.
So far, our furthest move North would to the Isle of Sky in Scotland, and the furthest South was to Penzance in Cornwall.
