Welcome to the Grocotts Removals & Storage website. Grocotts Removals is based in Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, and is a family run company with a wealth of knowledge in the removal industry, with over 20 years experience.
We understand that moving house or office is a stressful time before your move has even begun; in fact it has long been recognised as one of the most stressful things we ever do in our lives.
We pride ourselves in attention to detail and ensuring that our customers are satisfied with our removals and storage service, and every home, small office and piano removal is completed to our customers satisfaction.
Chris started in the removals business when he was just 21 years old, so has a massive amount of experience and a wealth of knowledge, along with many contacts in the removals business across the country.
He formed Grocotts Removals in 1996, buying his first removals van, a Bedford TL, which is a similar size to the Removal Vans he uses today.
Chris quickly established a Company ethos revolving around quality of service, and this has probably been the most significant single factor in generating most of their work through customer recommendation / referral. This, as a family business, is something they are extremely proud of.
Justin joined his Dad in 2004, after gaining his Class 2 HGV licence which Chris has, though he has held his for a tad longer! On local trips, Justin tends to do most of the driving, while they share the longer journeys up to Scotland or down to Cornwall or East Anglia.

As you can see in the images above The Move Must Go On; the weather may slow us down, but we will always do our level best to get you moved on time, and if this means late into the night, so be it!
Sometimes our customers cannot always, for a variety of reasons, transfer all their belongings at the same time. When this happens, Grocotts Removals will arrange for some or all of your belongings to be put into Secure Storage. We will then complete your move at your convenience.
